I struggled to find ideas and time for this assignment. I'm also very out of practice since I haven't used Rhino in months, so the results are half- assed
Initially, I planned to create 3D letters because I thought they would be manageable. However, there would be challenges when unfolding, because of the curves in letters like "R" and the slant in the letter "A."
Then, I noticed a banana on my counter and considered making a low-poly version of it, similar to these examples:
I encountered an issue where the construction plane kept changing based on which surface I clicked. Also, I couldn't remember how to make the tabs the same size.
First, I made it a flat pattern using the commands point, polyline and planarsrf. Then I assembled it using Rotate3D.
I don't know why I approached it this way… Looking back, I realize I should have created a solid first and then unfolded it.
