Castle_Project_2

I initially planned to create a pillow castle, but I struggled to recreate the organic shapes of the blankets with my current skill set. As a result, I had to start over and ended up making a more traditional castle. I found using loft and boolean commands to be the most enjoyable.

I had considered who lived here, which led me to the idea that a sentient garden gnome civilization* had created this structure out of found materials. Hence, the addition of the sand bucket. If I were to do this again, I'd focus more on the story I had in mind and make it evident in my design, perhaps by incorporating popsicle sticks or garden tools. I'd also try to add some vegetation surrounding the castle. Overall, I think I got too caught up in experimenting with the commands and called it quits too early. It was a fun project, and I'd like to revisit this same prompt in the future when I become more proficient in using Rhino.

P.S. Save your work often, I almost lost everything because I kept forgetting to do that... I will probably keep forgetting, but you dear reader DONT FORGET. >O>

Here is the picture I used for reference:

* I started thinking about the gnomes too much... I think they would kind of be like ants, really strong and work in large numbers...
