[06.) CLOCK DESIGN: CONCEPT GENERATION

Generating concepts for a clock is difficult because there are so many possibilities that it's hard to choose just one. My Favourites are circled in orange.

I am struggling with the idea of incorporating or hiding the clock hands into the design seamlessly, such as transforming them into bird or insect wings. However, I keep thinking about things that move up and down rather than those that rotate like clock hands. I was considering different metaphors and sayings related to time like “time flys”, “time is precious” and “memento mori”. The hamster wheel concept is inspired by this work by Amber Skye Alcock:
